Today is the last day of 2008… 31/12/2008. Alot of thing had happened in 2008 whether bad or good, we have gone through it with the thought of realising it is part of our life.

from start of 2008, my FIL passed away with the most headlines in the media- newspaper, for those who have been following my previous blog would know what I’m talking about. The case still pending in the appeal court and hopefully, justice will prevail for my FIL and for those who do something sinful, be ready to face the consequences of your act. The anger and sadness still persis in the family and we do accepted the fact and we are hopeful that there is at least a little justice for my late FIL.

March 2008, I lost my niece and my grandmother-maternal. 3 funeral in 2 months time, it is something that we had to bear although we have never ever thought this will happened in our family.

April 2008 – July 2008, my health take a turn in this period. The painful experience finally have resulted me having a fibroid in my womb. Nothing much that I could do except hoping for the best. I put all my hope to my gynae  and he knew the best on this.

Nov 2008 – Chloe admitted to hospital for virus attack to her breathing airway. Was on nebuliser for 2 weeks.

Despite the bad thing happened in 2008, I do gain something in 2008 too.

I changed my work in january 08. although the work are more easier than my previous job, I gain in term of time. Time to spent with my 2 princess. They are more and more clingy to me now. I happy with this.

Chloe grown from a lil baby to a pretty girl now. although almost 100% people say she look like a boy, when we dress her up, she does look like a princess. She walk on her own now which make taking care of her easier.

As for Zoey, she improved alot in her vocab and her malay language although some of her word are bahasa indon. She can speak very well now compared to last year.

Both of them have accepted their sister in their life. They played together, laugh together, fight together almost everything they do, they did it together. They misses each other we they did not each other but they fight when they are together.

Nothing much that I hope in 2009, other than happiness and luck in 2009 for my family.

Weight:

Zoey : 14kg

Chloe : 10kg.

speech

Zoey is good and improved very in this area. She can speech so very well and people start to commented on this. She become more and more considerate on people feeling and knew how to express her feeling like, happy, painful and angry.

like yesterday, kakak accidentally step on her foot while trying to prevent her from going outside, She was yelling painfully and her foot have swollen. Angrily she told kakak ” Don’t touch me, kakak naughty“

later after she cold down “ kakak sorry okay, popo scold kakak” as she saw popo have scolded kakak for the accident.

As for Chloe, she only knew a few words like:

” nen nen” - referring to milk.

“mum mum” – her favourite word

” ah dad” – referring to daddy

She show more body language and for us who have been taken care of her will know what she refers to.

Meal

Both of them taking solid meal now on weekends while on weekday they are still taking porridge as their main meal.

During weekend, I tried to cooked for them and they took whatever we took.

Zoey still refused to take vege and fruit and prefer her meal to be dry ie no sauce and whatever. She will request for small portion and will spit out if the portion is too big,

As for Chloe, no frustration from her at all in this. She took whatever we gave her and seldom reject her food. There are only one thing that she refused to take ie bread. Not sure why.

Singing

After she went to school, Zoey are having more musical sense and she love to sing. She can sing a few line of the ” we wish you a merry  christmas and happy new year” and one line of ” jingle bell” song. SHe hear this song when we brought her to mid valley during the raya haji weeks and from that onwards she will request me to sing with her while on our way back home. In fact, wei yiyi have brought her a CD just for her on all christmas song

As for Chloe, while she hear jie jie is singing, she will hum hum together with jie jie although most of the time it is out of tune.

Mobility

Chloe officially starting walking on her own since last 2 weeks. She have been walking non stop when she awake and at popo house, popo need to set some road block to prevent her from walking towards the stairs. She will say ” up up ” when she want to go up  the stairs.

Since Chloe have been walking, at home Zoey and CHloe will played together and sometime jie jie will said ” mei mei, catch jie jie” and both of them playing catching together. It is so good to see them played together.

as normal for yearly basis, I always booked a nite in Berjaya Times Square hotel for christmas and new year shopping as this is the times we spent our family  there and at the same time both zoey and Chloe will have the opportunity to meet up with Santa Clause, I will also take this opportunity to do some shopping for the girls, hubby and of course myself. I normally will do some treatment for my hair and this time, I get my hair trim, rebonding and colour for the new year. I dont have much opportunity and time to do this as the hairdresser took up 4.5 hours to do my hair + treatment.

as for Zoey, she enjoyed very staying in Berjaya as she meet up with santa claus and her favourite uncle – Uncle lee as she called him ( he is my twin sister boyfriend) spent some time with her and brought her a christmas present.

As for Chloe, this is the first year she found her freedom – yup she is walking all by her own now and enjoying much walking here and there and refused to be carry most of the time.

Sickness

Start with a fever on the first week of November, then a week later with measles and last week admitted to DSH for virus attack… poor baby…anyway mommy happy now that you’re recovering. pls get well soon okay…

Diet

She loves to take food be it soft, or hard but still she refuse to take bread as her food. She will crumble the bread and throw the bread away.

She loves porridge very much and must have carrot/potato in the spoon before you feed her. if she tasted that there is no carrot/potato she will spit the food out.

Maybe because she took whatever we ate, she quite prompt to fever which the doc once told us that it could due to the heatiness in her body,

mobility

she started to walk on her own since last 2 weeks. she still not that stable but getting better now. she sometimes request to walk, stand to do her own thing. sometimes she still prefer to crawl maybe for her, crawling is fasting since now she so pro to this.

fighting

she is the winner on this. whenever there is a fight most of time she is the one who initiatiate it. she will scratch, pull and now she learn a new stunt – bite. Jie Jie have never tried this as normally we managed to snatch jie jie hand away before she put her teeth on jie jie hand. she will cried first if she heard someones is coming as thou jie jie have bite her. how we know – we did see how she beat jie jie and later how she cried.

see how the lil pooh bear grown. previously while she is still small, we always thought she will get bully from her jie jie and now see what happened, she is the one who bully her big sister….

now is December … just a few weeks more, we will be leaving 2008 and going to 2009.

Same for Zoey, she grown very much during the past few weeks. Below are some of her update ( if Im not forgetting anything here) …

Weight : 13kg( 27/11/2008)

Height : not sure

I asked her doctor on her weight whether she is under weight or not. according to her doctor she actually on the light side but not underweight. As long as she is healthy eventhough she is light, it is good to me already.

Meal

She still taking porridge as her main meal during the weekday. She will take rice with us when we are eating dinner or lunch. She still refuse to take vege and she loves if her rice is mixed with vege sauce and so on. She doesnt like her rice to mixed with meat when we fed her. She like to take rice first, then meat/fish then rice again and so on. She also like to eat fish ball, meat ball, nugget and KFC -especially the skin. not sure where she learn from.

Vocab

Everyone is telling me that Zoey can speak very well. She speak english and malay at home. Sometimes, she surprise us all speaking malay so well as she knew how to use the words. She can speak in sentence in Malay with my maid.

She learn some mandarin in school and only sometime she willing to speak to daddy in mandarin.Daddy is teaching her mandarin now and sometimes whend daddy spoke to her in mandarin she will not show any reaction if she have no mood on that day.

Learning

She learn quite abit in school especially on her colouring skill. Previously, when we asked her to colour she will just scratch the pencil across the pages and now she know how to handle her motor skill in colouring. she are able to control her hand not to colour across any line and able to use the imagination while doing the colour as sometimes I asked her ” why doing colour this” she will answer ” I like red strawberry” …

Sisterly love toward her sister…

Thank goodness she how to share toy with her sister.. The most if both of them are fighting for toy, she will cried out loud and seeking help from mommy, daddy and kakak. She do sometime give in but most of them , NO. ended both of them crying for the same toy…

It’s all happened on Sat early morning…

Like usual I put Zoey and Chloe on the bed and we played awhile before both of them slept around 10.00pm ( which was way out of their bedtime – since the next day is sat, I let them played until they’re tired)… me too slept with them. around 12am I heard Chloe cried and having difficulty in breathing-something she having asthma attack. I was so shocked and quickly pick her up and tried to sooth her crying but unsucessful. my maid by then also woke up and quickly take some water and “yu yee” oil to rub on her back and stomach which we at first though she could be having tummy upset as she was crying non stop… hubby was not around at that time and I quickly called him back as I not sure what to do next. While waiting for hubby to come back, me and my maid trying to stop chloe from crying and after awhile she fall asleep but her breathing was very loud. When hubby reached, we decided to sent Chloe to Damansara Specialist Hospital – Emergency as we want to know what happened to chloe and also for precaution. We was attended by Dr Anand and chloe was given nebuliser and according to the doc, Chloe’s breathing airway is swollen and this cause her breathing to have weezing sound. Hubby and me later decided to admit her in since it is already so late and we also scared what if Chloe having the same again when went back home. We admitted around 330am and later hubby, Zoey and my maid went back home.

According to Dr Musa ( he is my both daughter’s Paeed doctor since they are newborn ), Chloe is having some virus attack on her airway and she will be given some nebuliser to reduce the swollen on her airway.

We was there for 2.5 days and was discharged on Sunday afternoon. Now Chloe are much better but she having a bad cough at night… she only have that caugh at night and she normal during the day. Will have another check up this saturday to follow up on this.
