Now only I knew that it is not easy to go through the last few day in a company. many handover and so on…. however, I’m happy to said that I have a good decision to leave and will not regret it… next monday will be my first day in a new environment, new boss and new business. ….

Everytime during photo session, we would said ” Cheese” to Zoey. Since then, the word “cheese” means you are going to take a photo. Ever since Zoey into her toddler year, we seems very difficult to take a good shot unless she drinking her ribena or milk. She now knew that if I take my camera to take her photo or Chloe photo, she will grab anything that is near her she will position it to her eye and said ” Cheese”….

 

 

 

 

 My lil girl are now almost 6 months. Time flies. I would said she is easier to take care, not much demand from her except. sleep and drink. Other than that, she easy going, easier to please …

As of 29th December, her weight was 6.9kg. Her Paed Doc said for her age and her condition ( being a premature baby) , she very good. Everything is normal. She have her second 5 in 1 jab on that day and had have fever for almost 2 days. Not really serious one but she cried and cried for almost 1 1/2 hr and I have no choice but to call for help…. Who? …. grandma and grandpa. both of them rush to my house and the moment, Chloe saw both of them, she quiet down and she spent the night with grandma and grandpa.

 She now very palyful and will asked for attention. She can’t be left alone or else she will pitifully cried to ask to carry. She will laugh and smile if you played with her. She can talk to you like ” ang-ku with all the rasberry coming out from her mouth, aaahahh ” etc….. She able to turn like 50% only and cried for help if she cant turn back…

Her bedtime have back to normal since she was 4 month old. Now she slept from 800ish pm till 600am, She will woke up and played a little while then sleep again until 8-9 ish every morning.

She still took 4oz of milk each time every 2-3 hours. At night just before she sleep she will took around 7oz and her last meal around 11-12pm and she will sleep through until 600am for her next feed.

Nowadays, Zoey become more vocab and she able to express herself with what she want and she need. Sometimes she will express herself quite well and sometimes no. especially to daddy who seldom able to spent much time with her, he cannot really know what Zoey want…. She knew a lot of words now and able to form short sentences ie

• bye, daddy
• bye, mommy
• bye, mei mei and so on
• Thanks mommy and so on

She able to pronounce ” mommy” very clearly and now instead of calling ” dad dad ” referring to Daddy, she able to pronounced ” daddy” correctly.

In fact she can now speak alot of new words include, english, Bahasa Melayu and a few of Mandarin words such as 

• nenek ( pronounced as nek-nek)
• datuk ( a-tuk)
• Ibu ( a-bu)
• ayah(a-yah)
• Auntie ( An-tie)
• meat
• El-mo
• Bu-you ( mandarin for don’t want)
• Bread
• cake
• egg
• dog
• cat
• moon
• star
• bee

I’m actually lost count on her vocabulary development as she keep on introducing new word to express herself. although she have yet to form a complete sentence, she is very good in expressing herself using her body language.

She also know how to imitate the animal sound ie

• woo-woo( for dog)
• Meow -meow ( for cat)
• tweet-tweet ( for bird )
• shhh-shhhh ( snake)

beside her vocab develpment, She have improved alot in her development being a toodler of 31 months.

Her health have improved alot as previously she used to get flu,cough and fever. Now with daddy introducing her with cod liver oil - orange flavour, her health have stablised.

Before Chloe was born, I have some worry within myself whether Zoey would accept her sister into her life after 2 years being the only child in the family. of course all the attention was given to her being the only child and only granchildren to po-po and gong-gong…As time passed I noticed that my little girl have started to accept Chloe as her mei-mei. Although Zoey still refused to share her toy with mei-mei, she does loves her so much… for instance, every morning she will look for her meimei and when I told her that mei-mei is at po-po house, she does not really show any reaction but once she reached po-po house she will when over to meimei and kiss meimei on the forehead. I really feel touch to see that moment as both my girl can click together and played.

Therefore, I tried to take care both the girls as much as I can and to let them played together especially during weekend. below are some photo that I took last weekend….

As for Chloe, She is a more easy going baby and in fact I feel it is more easy to take of her compared to taking care Zoey when Zoey was the same age as Chloe. Chloe now able to lift her head up and have tried to push herself up using her hand when I put her on her tummy position.

Coming this 8th and 10th of January 2008, it will be my sis 14th and mom 55th birthday… as usual we will go out for dinner at a nearby restaurant which we will ordered menu which mom and sis like… ie ” kam heong lala, steamed park so kong ( steamed fish), fried Yam with vege( I think this is how the dish was called), stir-fried sweet potota leaf, marmite pork, curry mixed vege, and fried sotong “.  this dinner cost around RM 180.00 which we think is quite reasonable considering the dish was cooked for 11 persons… The dish came in a big portion until siti ( my maid ) said she also full… normally she will be the person to clear all the dish ( she is quite a big eater)….

 for both Chloe and Zoey…. as normal for Zoey, as she still not take solid food as her main menu, what she took yesterday we considered as bonus. The amount that she took was surprisingly much compared to how she took her solid meal…. She loves the steamed fish and the fried sotong very much and she happily sat by herself and ate her dinner. She sit on her own without asking her to carry throughout the dinner. Maybe I let her slept for almost 2.5 hrs nap prior to the dinner. As for Chloe, I have to carry her until siti finishes her dinner then she took over the role. She also behaved quite well considering the dinner last passed her sleeping time. She even slept while drinking her milk in the restaurant and we have our dinner peacefully…. Ever since both the girl born, I seldom able to sit and enjoy my meal as normally I tried to finished my food as soon as possible. Nowadays, I will preferred to ta-pau my food and I can take my time and enjoyed my food at home rather than having my food in the restaurant….
