Mega sale again in KL! this time in conjunction with the F1 race. Started on 24th Mac till 22nd Apr 07. For Isetan, they are having 3 days special on 23-25th march where for member, we will get special rate on these 3 days.

Hubby called me on friday and told me that his collougue managed to brought ” magic wand” , walkie talkie and etc from Barbie at a very good discount. As hubby will be late on friday night and I need to buy some grocery for tomorrow lunch, I went there and mangad to buy the ” magic wand ” for RM 12.90 ( after discount of 60% ). When I told hubby that, he actually asking me why I did not buy the walkie talkie. I said it is too expensive. However, hubby said he will go to Isetan again on weekend to buy Zoey the walkie talkie.

So, we did went to the Isetan again yesterday, this time we went to KLCC and was supposingly plan to take Zoey to the park. We was actually surprised to see that there are too many people and very stuffy and Zoey started to be very cracky. So we cancel the plan and straight we went to Isetan. We went to the Children department ( which is normal since we have Zoey in our life ). Hubby take Zoey to the Toys department and I went seaching for Zoey and the new baby clothing. Did not get any as still thinking that Zoey have many new cloths which she have for her CNY, 

Hubby brought the following for Zoey :

1. Walkie talkie -Barbie

2. Camera – Barbie

3. Karaoke set – Barbie

4. Card for zoey. reason being, Zoey loves to play with card

5. a robot for his niece

6. 2 blouses for mommy – pregie clothing which have a very good discount – 60%

all together hubby have spent around RM 134.00 which I think it is a good bargain. I told hubby not to open up all the toy at one go. so that when Zoey get bored with one, she will have a new toy to play.

update on Zoey 

1. Her new words  – ” magic “, ” come “, ” up”, ” em-moy ( mean dont want in Hakka” – not sure where get the word from as we did not speak hakka to her. I’m only speak Hakka with my father. Maybe she get it from there), ” Ah Wong” etc. ( It’s seem like I lost track on the speech. She will alway have new words)

2. She seems to demand for food non stop. I have to keep some food such as biscuit and cornflakes etc for the weekend so that I can give it to her when she demand.

3. Still preferred warm water and ribena . but occassionally she will take vitagen or juices if we gave it to her. She will only sip a bit.

4. Loves the swimming pool very much. Every morning or evening when we take her back to our house, she will point to the swimming pool area and demand to go there.

5. Still on cereal but we will make sure that she take some rice when we take our dinner/lunch during weekdays and weekends. She loves to eat rice if we mixed it with soup.

It was a totally different from my first pregnancy. Below are some of the difference that I noticed :

- I like to take spicy food and making sure that my food much have at least chilli in it. I can even take cili padi while I’m not really can before I pregnant or with my first pregnancy

- Have not had any appetite to eat or urge to eat more that 3 meals a day which is quite different from my first pregnancy. I can take 1 loaf of bread when I was with my little girl and can proceed to have lunch, tea time, dinner and supper.

- craved for soft drinks and coffees. Must drink a cup of coffee every morning and take a sips of soft drink whenever I feel like it.

- loves ice cream very much which I don’t really with my first pregnancy

- refuse to take soya bean and other nutricious drink like protein ( amway ) or anmum. During my first pregnancy, everyday I take a cup of soya bean in the morning and sometime with anmum for my breakfast and it is quite different for this pregnancy which I refuse to take any of it.

The pain that I have still exist and I have not been able to walk so much now due to the tummy situation. Everytime that I need to walk, I could feel the pain at my lower abdomen and sometime it was so painful until my tear just roll down.

I feel tired more easily now although I into my 4th month now, I dont really feel any different from my 1st trismeter. Normally saturday and sunday is my rest day where I will sleep through from 800pm to 800am. At this time, hubby need to take care of lil Zoey.

I’m still continue taking a day off a week till last week and starting this week, I will tried to work 5 days a week as there a lot for me to do. However, will need to see my condition on this.

Last week, hubby told me that lil zoey was really excited to see all the toddler swimming in the pool in our condo. It was a routine every weekend for hubby to take Zoey to the pool which have a small playground next to it. so, last thursday, I went to Parkson and brought her a swimming suit.

So, last saturday, after hubby came back from home, we went down to the swimming pool to let Zoey tried her first swim. She was really excited and playing, splashing and kicking the water, We let her played about 10 minutes before we pull her out from the pool. We scared that she may get sick if she stay too long in the pool. Maybe next time we will let her stay a little bit longer.

Taking intruction

I noticed that Zoey are more and more able to take instruction from us…. example :

hubby in the kitchen, drinking water and upon looking that daddy is in the kitchen, zoey will run to the kitchen and pull open a drawer and took out fork and spoon to play.

hubby : Zoey, put back the spoon( or fork )…..

Zoey : *zoey will run out with whatever in her hand to the living hall *

Hubby : * raise his voice * ” Daddy said put back “

Zoey : * she will slowly walk back to the drawer and put back the item that she took from the drawer and run to me ( sometimes ) or to continue what she doing just now “

This does not really always happen when I do the same. Maybe I’m not that strict…

‘up’

Zoey does not know how to pronounce this word.. So on saturday evening before hubby came back from work, I take the opportunity to take Zoey to the playground since she was at home the whole morning / afternoon and I want my maid to clean the house. With Zoey around, it is very difficult for the maid to clean the house as Zoey will messed all the thing that the maid is doing…

As with my pregnancy’s difficulties, I was unable to carry Zoey to the playground. .. and therefore this was the first time we let zoey walked on the road.. There is a staircase which I never let Zoey tried but that sat, I have no choice therefore. I let her tried the staircase… So , on every step , I said ” Up”  and this continue for another few step before I realised that Zoey is also saying “UP “ on every step that she took.

Then, I realised now that she are able to take simple instruction and to able to learn new word quite easily…

” this post was a little bit outdated. was intend to wrote down whatever that had happened during the CNY celebration but always have no time to write…”

Like every year, since I got married to hubby, we normally will celebrate CNY at Hubby’s hometown – Seremban. This year, we went back on the CNY eve as Hubby unable to get early released while I already have 2 days off prior to CNY eve. As normal, we ( the daughter’s in law ) will planned on what are we going to have during the CNY. This year, it was steamboat which at first I have suggested that maybe we could have dinner outside. SIL have pointed out maybe MIL would not like it. I was in charged to get all the material ready while the rest my SIL would be incharged.

On the 1st day of CNY, Zoey was used to the environment already which she happily running around with her cousins. She got herself a lot of ang pow while poor mommy and daddy have to come out with the others…. However, whenever she received an ang pow from uncle and auntie, she would throw the ang pow packet as she does not know yet what is the value of the ang pow yet. We did not manage to do more visiting this year as we noticed that Zoey was not really feeling well, she refused to take her meal and have been vomiting when we gave her food in the evening. Truth enough, that night she have tummy upset and was crying non stop for about 15-20 minutes. As normal, I feel panicked and luckily we have MIL’s maid who know how to handled the situation. around 1130pm that night, Zoey slept through till 730am while mommy wide awake… I’m can’t sleep at all that night till I think 3ish that morning.

As we have not planning to take extra long leave and myself need to get back to the office on the 4th of CNY, hubby and I have decided to come back to KL on the 2nd day as on the 3rd of CNY, which I want to reserved for my family.

Zoey was refused to sleep on the way home and I was so tired. She even do her big business on that journey. we did not change her as it is very near to our home. While we are home, I was so tired and had to asked hubby to take over to take care of her. She did not sleep till 300ish the next morning.

On the 3rd day of CNY, we went to my grandmother’s house – Zoey’s great grandmother house to ” pai nien”. She very cracky and refused to play. We have lunch there and we went back to my mom’s hse. At first, hubby want to take a rest and I told to go back to our house first and myself and lil zoey would be at my mom’s house. However, Zoey was so cracky until I have no choice but to asked hubby to pick us up again from my mom’s place. Back at home Zoey was okay however she refused her meal especially liquid and we noticed that her mouth start to have ulser. We have no choice but to spoon feed her water and also milk. This way she able to finished her meal.

On the 4th day of CNY, hubby and I reported to work. However, I start to have slight fever and due to work commitment I managed to stayed back until around 700pm before I went back home. On the way to back home, I told hubby I’m not feeling well and having quite a high fever. So hubby took me to the nearest clinic… have to wait for about 45minutes before my turn. My fever was around 39′c… I have no appetite at all to eat … hubby was alittle upset with me on this maybe he is worry for me.

As per the doc recommendation,  we went to see my gynae and to our surprise, he actually asked me to admit to the hospital on the 5th day of CNY… What a year!!! He suspected dengue and also kidney infection as my fever was very high. At one stage it almost hit 40′c. I don’t actually feel sick but alittle bit tired. As it is just fever, I thought I need to stayed in the hospital for a night but it turn out that I have admitted for 4 day. Not dengue but infection which could be due to over exhausted….

I discharged from the hospital on the 8th day of CNY and stayed at home for another 2 days to recover. I went back to work on the 11th day of CNY. after the incident, my appetite become worse and I can’t eat much. I only able to take liquid and within that week, I lost 1kg which actually scared me … what if my baby did not get enough food. My gynae assured me that my body are producing enough food for the baby. Due to the ‘low laying placenta’, I was advised not walked too much, carrying heavy thing ( including carrying lil zoey ) and to take more rest. I just scared that I would get placenta previa later on my pregnancy…

That is how my CNY celebration for 2007

It have been very long overdue on the update for lil Zoey. So much changes on her from the past one month. She getting more and more demanding now.

She loves the tele very much…lucky me she would not request for us to tune into channel 63 everytime, everyday. In grandma house she request her popo and gong gong to switch to channel 63 every time she sees them on the tele. Now, both grandparent are very well versed with the programme time for channel 63. All yiyi have start to complained about this.

She know how to copy whatever she saw on the tele. on the advertisement abt sony video camera, one part show a small boy “sayang” her mummy tummy, she actually came over to my side and ” pat” on my tummy. other than the “pat” was too hard -which make me feel abit painful, I was surprised to sees her doing it. Since that advertisement, she will sometimes ( depending on her mood ) come and sayang my tummy. If I said ” Zoey, you want to sayang baby” Sometimes she will lean over my tummy and put her head on my tummy as an gesture of love. I loves the scene very much.

She have curly hair – just like hubby, so if I don’t tie her hair up into coconut tree, she would like just woke up. There is an incident where, one of the salesgirl said ” eh baby, baru bangun ke” and I answer ” no lar. ”…see how people react when I dont tie her hair up. Thank goodness, she wants me to tie her hair up and everytime she refuse, I would said to her ” zoey if you want to look pretty, you need to let mummy tie your hair” she will usually obey us…

Yesterday, there is an incident happened which I quite surprised.  I was at grandma house around 845pm to pick her up. I was calling her name from the porch and she came to the door and show the ” ask-me to be quiet ” sign from the door frame. I was surprised to see her that way and abit blur why she do so. Grandma told me that she asked me to be a bit quiet because she want to watch ” ah wong” which is now showing in channel 30. Grandma told me that she considered ” ah wong ” as Mr Bean.

For CNY holiday, she enjoyed herself very much where she have many cousins to played with. She even be the ” bully” among the cousins . She got herself hurt on the lip where she accidently hit herself against the stereng of hubby car. then when she came back to kl she have ulser around her gums and throat.
