Since I moved to a new role on 15th Aug 2006, I seem like do not have much time to update lil Zoey progress..

Lil Zoey is now 14th Month old…

She is more mobile now and was crawling most of time and refused to be into her walker. She understand more of our daily speaking and would sometime follow our instruction to asked her to do something…

She more and more understand and differentiate between NO and YES. When Daddy said ” NO” she will usually obliged to do but mommy said NO she will just ignored it… She is more daddy girl now and will always stay with daddy. At night Daddy and she will sleep together except on saturday when daddy need to go back to hometown…

She can now speak better and the first Real word that we understand is ” pa-pa-pa “. No sure whether she refer to her daddy as I alway refer hubby as “daddy” to Zoey. she can now asked for food using her baby language or sometime you will hear she said” mum-mum”…

She still refuse to take porridge and we still continue her with her cereal 2 times a day and we have change her milk powder from 12mths to follow up fomula. She seem okay with the milk powder.

As she is now more mobile, we have brough a playmate for her to move around.

Thank goodness lil Zoey have recovered from her sickness before the weekend. Now she have some kind of rashes on her cheek which leave some red patches on her cheeks! If someone does not know that she is having some rashes, they would think that lil Zoey have a rosy cheek….. The skin on her cheek are start peeling off now.

I decided to treat my family to Jagoya, starhill for a buffet dinner. This is the 2nd time I was there. I loves this place because the buffet spread are good and a variety of choice that you can choose from.

Lil Zoey was a bit naughty that night, refuse to sit on the high chair and kept on fussing until you carried her around. It was like we take turn between myself and grandma so that either one of us can entertain lil Zoey while the other enjoyed the dinner.

A Wa-wa-wa

Lil Zoey know how to make noise from our hand covering our mouth. When we asked her ‘ Zoey, show mommy how you do a wawa sound’? She will take the back of her hand an covered her mouth and make the a wawa sound.

‘ if you’re happy, and you know it, clap your hand ‘….

Whenever we sing this song to her, she will clapped her hand.

Barney

Not sure why babies and little kids loves Barney very much. Lil Zoey have discovered what is Barney all about. When the theme song played on the telly, automatically lil Zoey will stop doing what she is doing and looked to the telly. She can sit still till the end of the show.

We thought that lil zoey have recovered from last week’s sickness which proved we are wrong… Lil Zoey was having fever on Wednesday night which was Mommy’s birthday. She vomited and having fever on and off. We gave her fever medicine aroung midnight and applied cool fever jelly to her forehead. She yelled and yelled which I think the whole block of our apartment are able to hear her screaming. I was very worry as she seem feeling very unwell and refused being to sleep on her own. I even have to carried her in a sleeping position as I was having backache that night plus have to carried lil Zoey for a long time. Thank goodness she is okay with that position.

We was like we have to carried her until she is dreamland then only we put down to her bed. She sleep around 500am which daddy and mommy only sleep for a couple of hour. Then we decided to goes to office slightly later that day in order for us to catch some sleep.

I’ve decided to sent lil Zoey to her paed since grandma told me that lil zoey is having fever after we goes to office. Grandpa and Grandma took Zoey to DSH and myself meet up with them in the hospital. The paed said no fever after taking lil Zoey’s temperature. We are surprised as Zoey was having fever when they are on the way to DSH. Her paed only subscribed cough and fever medicine for Zoey.

Having lil Zoey in our life have really thought us that it is not easy to become a parent…You have to take care of life person which sometimes are not able to tell you that ” what wrong with me?”. I was really tired after lil zoey was born. I have never regret having lil Zoey in my life and hubby’life. Although We are unable to do spontaneously and we are tired, we feel blessed to have lil Zoey in our life… Thank you, Zoey!

It started on Monday morning where lil Zoey have vomited while drinking her milk just before we left to my grandma’s house..at first we thought that lil Zoey was too full. Thank goodness I was on leave on that day. At noon, Lil Zoey woke up and cough followed by vomiting again this time with some phlegm. I told my dad that we need to take lil Zoey to see her paed…Doc said that lil Zoey have some cold and he subscribe cough drop and nose drop for lil Zoey… On Tuesday morning, we noticed that Lil Zoey have a slight fever and we applied the cool fever jelly to her forehead. At 500am, we gave the fever medicine to her. Fever went down. Around 800am, we noticed that the fever came back and grandma suggested we should take lil Zoey back to her paed. Her pead told us that lil Zoey is having throat infection and will need to take some antibiotic for 5 days.

Doc also told us that lil Zoey was slightly underweight i.e. 7.9kg for her age. As long as lil Zoey is healthy we will are happy. We know lil Zoey is very fussy with her food. We have no choice but to gave her cereal although by this age she shld be taking solid food. She refuse to take her porridge no matter how we prepare her porridge.

Reading

for the past few weeks, we noticed that lil Zoey passion for book have improve. She will played with her book by flipping through the pages… Looking at the video above, lil Zoey was flipping although her book and at the end of the video lil Zoey was smiling as Daddy have just came home from work. This is the first smiling that daddy will get whenever he back from work as Zoey was really excited to see daddy…
