Daddy was very very tired yesterday after taken care of FIL the night before. Have gone to sleep very early. Zoey also very good yesterday… sleep at 8.30pm. I’m trying to to make sleep early so that she will not get very cracky in the morning when I wake her up at 630am to send her to Mum’s place.

Since both of them are asleep I have sometime for myself…glue to the tv and at the same get ready for IRB 2005 return which will be due this sunday. When I update this blog now, I have just finish my return.

At abt 11.30pm I gave little Zoey her last feed for the night, she was wide awake then. I was so sleepy and I just said to Zoey, ‘ Mommy very tired, go to sleep okay. Mommy sayang Zoey!’ Then I saw Zoey turn, and look for her Daddy. When she saw Daddy was sleeping, she tried to call daddy ‘ Ahh! ahh!’ many times and even tried to crawl to Daddy. As daddy was sleeping and I’m also pretend to sleep, Zoey just bubble her baby language and played with her bolster and pacifier. Then I slept. By the time I’m woke up, Zoey already slept.

This morning, when I sent Zoey to my mom place she are now know that mommy and daddy will go work and will not come back home till Evening, she will cried and cried when I put her to the bed to continue to sleep. This is usual. Every morning I will put her to her bed and she will sleep till aroung 930am for her cereal. Now it seem very difficult to make her sleep.Sometime so pity and sad when I hear her scream from downstair.

The trip to Lankawi that I have planned since last December have been called off. FIL is admitted to SJMC last tuesday.. FIL is still sick and have to be stay in the hospital. Not sure when he will be dicharged. Have told hubby that since MIL want to be with FIL and if FIL is still in the hospital this weekend, MIL will stay with us for the weekend. So sad to see the trip to langkawi cancelled. However we are going to take little Zoey to genting with the maid on the 2/5/06 for one night stay.

Zoey was a little bit cracky two days back. Maybe due to her teething. Have been pooing twice a day… Yesterday take 1/2 day off as feel very tired due to the lack of sleep on tuesday night. When Zoey saw me at the door she was still in her sarong. According to my father she is abit moody in the morning. When she saw me she so happy.. Mom commented that she seem do know that mommy with her and she will ’sing’ in her walker. She is not so moody in fact I can see she is very happy playing in her walker.

Zoey misses daddy very much. Hubby are unable to spent much time this 2 days as FIL is in SJMC and yesterday is hubby turn to take care of FIL in the hospital at night. only able to carry Zoey few minutes before rushing to the hospital. Zoey seem to know that Daddy have come and see her. She will make funny faces when I said Daddy come back already and carry her out from the walker. She will smile at daddy and extend her hand to show that she want daddy to carry her. So cute!!!! Hopefully daddy can stay back tonight and play with Zoey.

Although Zoey is now almost 10 mths now, medically she is still considered as 8mths old baby as explained by the paed. The 1st 2 months are not to take into consideration as she is still a premature baby…

Here are the milestone of Zoey as 10mths baby( medically 8 months ):

weight : 7.9 Kg ( 7th april)

Mobility :
1. Able to cruise around the house with her walker very ‘professional’. Mom said like a ‘pro’. Quite flexible for grandma and mommy as we only need to looked after her scared if she pull thing out from the drawer or daddy’s computer table

2.Sitting . She can sit very stable now on her own but we will tried to put pillow/mattress around her in case she fall backward/forward.

3. Crawl. Just started trying to push herself up into ‘4 leg’ position. Think she will crawl with 4 legged not like mommy when I’m small. Mom told me that I crawl by pushing my butt,. Quite dangerous sometimes as she will just push forward when she in sitting position.

Language
1. Now able to said mum-mum-mum,men-men when she is in good mood. She can said ‘ma-ma ‘ whenever she cried. not sure whether she calling me.

hand/leg co-ordination
1. able to pick up small item using her thumb and index finger. sometimes will grab with her hand if the item are too small.

2. able to respond if said’high five’ when asked to do so.

3. very curious if they is new thing in front of her or she will just pull the item out from the drawer or table.

Diet;
1. 9.30 am – Cereal
2. 12.30 pm – 5 oz of milk
3. 3 – 4pm- cereal
4. 6.30pm – 5 oz milk
5. 11.30pm – 6 oz of milk

Teeths
only one in her gum, showing a bit white now. still very shy to come out.

Others:
1.will show tantrum if we take away her things. very naughty now.
2. able to understand the word of ’shopping’. Very happy if we said ‘ let’s go shopping’
3. love to watch wheather forecast on Channel 34 astro and disney cartoon.

So I’m trying to avoid the same situation from happening again..

Not having her in the house, I could feel the different, Too quiet and misses the moment when zoey at home. I miss her very much…

Being a 9 mths++ now, zoey loves to sit in her walker and cruise around the house freely.. She can sit there very long especially if there is new toys for her,… She can even pull the drawer open with her hand, and take out whatever in the drawer.. So now I have to keep all the thing neatly and avoid Zoey from getting hurt from the thing she tried to get out.

Tomorrow need to go back to Sban as FIL just have his 2nd stroke yesterday… Not going to take Zoey back tomorrow…
